Food was very good! Nice place with home style cooking. I'm sure the chef eats here too, as it was considerably better than a Cocos or Mimis. I had the ribeye. It was cooked as ordered and the quality of the cut was very good! Coming back soon. Nice restaurant guys! Thanks

We had a great experience at Trappers! From the minute we walked in, they were attentive and accommodating. The restaurant itself has a nice homey interior. We had a very large group (16), and even though it took a minute, they found room for us. Our waitress Tammy was a hoot! She figured out really fast that we all love to laugh and joke around, and she joined right in. She got all the orders right despite us being a bit high maintenance, kept our drinks full, and when it came time for dessert, she had a detailed list of pie flavors ready for us. Between the 16 of us, we tried a good variety of menu items, and everyone enjoyed the food. They have quite a few bread choices for sandwiches, which we always appreciate when we eat out. And their selection of pies was great! I had the banana cream pie and would definitely recommend it. If you are ever in Taylor, stop by Trappers for a bite. You won't be disappointed!

My parents moved our family to Taylor, AZ in 1974 shortly after Trappers first opened in 1973. We lived down the street and saw the devastation of the fire in 82, and subsequent reopening. A few years later we moved very far away. It’s been 40 years since our family left, but prior to when we came back to visit, I remember the whole time how my mother would talk about how amazing the pie at Trapper’s was. She wished she could get her crusts to be as amazing as theirs. I left as a small child and had no memory other than through the memories of my mom and eldest sister. I finally got to taste the pies and I’m pleased to announce that a 40 year build up in no way disappointed. Let’s just say, “The pie is good” . The overall experience was charming. The dinner was wholesome and delicious. The wait staff was courteous and professional. I hope it’s not another 40 years until I come back.

Their selection of pies is amazing. So is the taste. I'm lucky I don't live close enough to go there often. Lemon Cream, Orange Cream, & German Chocolate pies were great. Had a couple slices in the restaurant & took a pie to go share with others. Staff was friendly & helpful. Parking is a lot two spaces South of the restaurant.

I went to Trapper’s Cafe for the first time the other day with my mom. We were greeted immediately with friendly faces. Told us we could sit anywhere and followed us with menus. We sat in front, in front of the heater, and was very warm and cozy. I used the bathroom and it was very clean. Our orders were taken in a timely manner and food was served hot and fresh. We both got the shrimp special. My only complaint is they didn’t mention it was coconut shrimp. Otherwise everything was great! We will be going again!

Wonderful food. We got the biscuit's & gravy and country fried steak and loved it! The country relaxed atmosphere was really nice, especially with the cute decorations. And we got our food really fast! (Faster than I get stuff from McDonald's sometimes!) Next time I'm grabbing a pie to go! …

This is a small town café with a local feel if you support local business. This would be a great place to go. The staff is extremely friendly. They always have pies on on order. The restaurant is very clean.I recommend coming here with your family

My son and I came through here and LOVED the beef melt with green chili on rye. Get a side of their house made ranch for added deliciousness. And the pie. Wow. We got a slice of apple and a slice of banana cream, both were amazing. The apple was so good we decided to take a whole one home. Definitely go to Trapper's if you have a chance!
